Hi- I am Ms. Rosalba Juarez. I am the Full day/Full Year Instructional Aide in Rm 29 at Palermo preschool. I started my career in Migrant Head start in 1997. I worked there until 2013 when I started here at Palermo Preschool. I have 15 Early Childhood units and this year I received my Associate Teacher permit. I am bi-lingual and I love working with the children and families at Palermo. Being a Bilingual educator has been a very rewarding experience. The students are full of curiosity and a willingness to learn new things. I am glad to be a part of the Palermo School District where I can provide children opportunities to grow and explore.
Hello, my name is Kristyn Marquez. I am the afternoon aide in Mrs. Rodriguez’s classroom. I have a Child Development Associate Teacher Permit and 7 years experience working with children in various educational settings. I have worked with Palermo Union School District since 2022. I am blessed to have a job that I love deeply and the opportunity to play a small part in our future generation’s early learning journey. My goal is to ensure that the first educational experiences are filled with joy, wonder, and a sense of accomplishment laying a strong foundation for their lifelong learning.
Hi, my name is Miss Brooklyn, and I am excited to be working as an Instructional Aide at the Palermo Preschool Program. I recently earned my bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders and am pursuing a career as a Speech-Language Pathologist. I love supporting students, helping them build confidence in their learning, and cheering them on as they grow both inside and outside of the classroom. I strive to make learning fun, playful, and meaningful for every student.
Hello, my name is Karina Sandoval-Cantu, and I am one of the preschool teachers at Helen Wilcox Preschool. I have been part of the Palermo Union School District for seven years. I began my journey as a part-time instructional aide and worked my way up to head teacher and site supervisor. As a bilingual educator, I enjoy sharing my first language and culture with my students. Teaching preschool is one of the most rewarding roles — I have the privilege of nurturing, supporting, and celebrating each child’s growth every day.
